Clara Amfo wins 2021 Broadcasting Press Guild Awards

Ghanaian-British media personality, Clara Amfo won Audio Presenter of the Year award at the 2021 Broadcasting Press Guild Awards.

The award is a recognition of her work on BBC Radio 1.

The awards scheme recognises “outstanding UK programmes and performances seen or heard in the preceding year.”

Amfo currently presents the mid-morning show on BBC Radio 1, which she took over from Fearne Cotton on May 25, 2015.
