MTN Liberia Music Awards open for Nomination

MTN Liberia Music Awards open for Nomination

The organisers of the MTN Liberia Music Awards (MLMAs) are calling for nominations ahead of the 2021 edition of the annual ceremony. Nominations are open for songs, DJs, artists or groups, videos and videographers. To be eligible for nomination at the 2021 MLMAs, Liberian artists or their representatives must register and submit their works here.

The deadline for nominations is 3 August.

The awards scheme was founded in 2008 with the goal of promoting and celebrating outstanding musical achievements by Liberian artists and other music stakeholders based in Africa and the diaspora. Afropop act Eric Geso is the reigning MLMAs Artist of the Year.

The awards platform will recognise work in the following categories:

Collaboration of the Year
Album of the Year
Lifetime Achievement Award

MTN Viewer’s Choice Award
