Bongokuhle Hlongwane’s miscued shot was enough to beat substitute goalkeeper Lawrence Ati-Zigi with six minutes left to play at the famous FNB Stadium.
The win has sent the Bafana Bafana to the top of the group with four points after sniffing a point at Zimbabwe.
