Uncle Ebo Whyte’s New Play “I Want to Feed You” Debuts at National Theatre This September.

Roverman Productions, in collaboration with the National Theatre, is presenting a new play for September 2024 titled “I Want to Feed You”. Written by the renowned playwright Uncle Ebo Whyte, the play delves into the chaotic yet relatable lives of a group of individuals in an ordinary neighborhood in Accra.

The storyline follows several intriguing characters: Auntie Peace, who is furious over her missing Christmas chicken; Nhyira, who is warned to avoid Serwaa, the girl he loves; and the mysterious secrets surrounding Serwaa’s past. The play also features a preacher who seems to know more than he’s letting on, adding layers of suspense to the unfolding drama.

Performances will be held at the National Theatre, Accra, on September 6th, 7th, 8th, 13th, 14th, and 15th. Showtimes are as follows:
– Fridays: 7:00 PM (one show only)
– Saturdays: 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM
– Sundays: 1:00 PM, 4:00 PM, and 8:00 PM
