Nigerian artist, Davido has shared some of his experiences on the set of American comedy film ‘Coming 2 America.

He plays the role of a performer in the movie that serves as a sequel to the original 1988 film starring Eddie Murphy.

Speaking during a new interview on Ionwannatalk Podcast, Davido claimed he was paid 15, 000 US Dollars a day whilst he was on set: “On set, you get 15 racks a day bro! So in this whole time, I am still in disbelief. So my manager comes and goes we start shooting in November.”

He also disclosed that he received warm reception during the shooting of the movie at the Tyler Perry Studios, adding that he had his own trailer with Nigerian food as part of the menu.

Getting cast in the movie started with his agent reaching out to him during a visit to Atlanta, United States of America.

The agent followed up with a email detailing the deal he has been offered by producers of ‘Coming 2 America.
