BET Awards: Burna Boy named ‘Best International Act’ for record fourth time

Nigerian musician Burna Boy has been crowned the ‘Best International Act’ at the 2023 BET Awards.

The Afro-fusion star was announced the winner of the award at the ceremony held on Sunday night at the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, United States of America.

Other nominees in the category included Aya Nakamura, Ayra Starr, Central Cee, Ella Mai, K.O, L7nnon, Stormzy, Tiakola and Uncle Waffles.

With his triumph, Burna Boy extended his record for receiving the most awards in the “Best International Act” category at the BET Awards (4).

He has won the award for three consecutive years (2019, 2020 and 2021).
