British Fashion Awards 2022: Maya Jama and Stormzy hit the red carpet separately at London’s Royal Albert Hall

Maya Jama and Stormzy arrived at the 2022 British Fashion Awards separately on Monday night after they reportedly rekindled their romance.

The television presenter, 28, put on an edgy display in a bold black gown with a matching wide-brimmed hat as she made her grand arrival for the grand occasion.

Cutting a confident figure, Maya posed up a storm in her busty black gown with a revealing torso cut-out, teamed with a slanted straw hat with a wide brim

Every inch the fashionista, the soon-to-be host of Love Island teamed her sexy dress with a black and white jewelled collar necklace and matching earrings.

London’s biggest night in fashion, the 2022 British Fashion Awards, is back! The fashion set gathered in London, once again at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall, to celebrate a night of British and international fashion excellence.

The night acts in part as “a fundraiser for the BFC Foundation and focuses on celebrating excellence in the fashion industry and supporting the future pipeline of creative talent.” But the red carpet is also quite the centre of attention. Stars from across the fashion and pop culture spaces show up in their finest frocks.

From Jodie Turner-Smith in a flowy neon green Gucci gown to Winnie Harlow wearing an ethereal copper gown from none other than Iris Van Herpen.

There were lots of trends on the red carpet. From metallics, Naomi Campbell sparkled in a metallic gown and cape by Valentino, of course, lots of black for drama like, pops of spring colours like Leiome Anderson in purple, pops of yellow, animal print, and tons of satin.

Celebrities from around the world graced the red carpet in London at the Fashion Awards 2022 on Monday.

Catwalk models including Lila Moss – the daughter of Kate Moss – and Bella Hadid were among those in the running to win the coveted Model of the Year award at the ceremony.

Ms Hadid, a regular on the catwalks of fashion capitals Paris, Milan and New York, clinched the award; while environmentalist and Patagonia founder Yvon Chouinard won the Outstanding Achievement Award.

In September, Mr Chouinard said he was giving away the apparel company to a trust that will use its profit to fight the climate crisis.

Fashion company Wales Bonner was presented with the Independent British Brand Award at the Royal Albert Hall and Valentino designer Pierpaolo Piccioli was crowned Designer of the Year.
