Dentaa Amoateng MBE, President of GUBA Enterprise, has been honoured by the African Women in Europe (AWE) Awards. The award is in recognition of her outstanding performance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The African Women in Europe Awards is an initiative instituted to empower, support and connect African women across Europe. Founded in 2008, the awards serve as a platform for networking business support and information. The ceremony saw many accomplished Europe based African women, being honoured for their consistent performance even during the pandemic.
The African Women in Europe had earlier awarded Dentaa Amoateng MBE in 2013 for promoting Ghanaian achievement in the United Kingdom through the GUBA Enterprise. In receipt of the awards, Mrs Dentaa Amoateng MBE states:
I am truly grateful for this award. I will like to thank the GUBA Team for their continued support, and the AWE awards team for entrusting me with this honour. This serves as more motivation to continue doing all that I can to help others.
The GUBA Enterprise is a social enterprise organisation dedicated to the advancement of diaspora Africans and Africans back home through various socio–economic programs and initiatives. Through the various branches of the Enterprise, GUBA continues to grow, unite and build Africa, which is its overall objective.
GUBA Enterprise has become the Diaspora Network Manager par excellence and continues to grow into an impactful social venture network.
