Meet Ghanaian Kingsley Kojo Aikins, who is shaping the eyes of Dubai

Ghanaian-born Kingsley Kojo Aikins, also known as the Dubai Plug, the founder and Managing Director of Eyes In Dubai Agency, has had an interesting journey and is now working towards getting people to experience the beautiful hidden scenes in Dubai through his lens.

According to Kingsley, when he relocated and settled in Dubai, he realized that lots of people travel to Dubai with no or very few itineraries and yet they don’t get to see the important places. So I try to find places that will interest people and at the same time relax them and help them enjoy their vacation. Thus the birth of “Eyes In Dubai”

Speaking about his motivation towards creating Eyes In Dubai, he said, “My quest is to create content that can speak volumes and also meet the test of time and make people want to know and see where the place is.” Also, I love to see people enjoy the memories they have created from events they have been to, and it gives me so much joy to be a part of that memory. ”

Kingsley grew up in a strict Christian home with both parents as educationists and entrepreneurs who ensured that their children met timelines in school and ensured we were very much involved in church activities. Dad was an educationist and an entrepreneur (manufacturing of belts). Mum was also in the educational sector. So I got both my discipline and my entrepreneurial life from them. ”

Kingsley says his strongest influence has been his mother. “She was strict and ensured that whatever I wanted to do, I must succeed and she’s been my number one supporter.”

Recounting his growth, he said being independent is his greatest achievement. “Growing up, I always wanted to be able to be on my own and also be a helping hand to my family and people I come across. My friends and family always say I am a goal-getter and a fighter. I fight with all I’ve got until I can’t fight anymore to ensure my goals and aspirations are met.

He had his education at Tema Secondary School, Accra Technical University, then to IPMC, Accra Media School, Aisad and Accra Media College.

Kingsley’s vision is to have branches of Eyes In Dubai in most countries and be able to employ Ghanaians all over the world in order to provide employment for them. I also want to be able to work while enjoying myself. That’s being paid to have fun. To be the best luxury travel company to organize trips to Dubai, not forgetting to give clients the best experience and also help capture beautiful memories. ”
